Group therapy

Often a brilliant therapist: the group

"What? Should I discuss my problem in a group? With others? "

Sounds irritating at first. But look at the advantages:
For example, you get a greater insight and multiple perspectives on your topic. You can get to know different possible solutions and many experiences of others with similar situations. And you realize: you are not the only one in the world with that kind of problems.

The group works as an affirmative social network. Because problems are mostly relationship issues, this is where they can best be related - in interpersonal exchange. The therapist keeps an eye on the entire group, their personal members, is responsible for the balance and in the end summarizes everything into key points.

By the way: Group and individual therapy can match perfectly.
